The Hongkong Prize

The hongkong prize is a prestigious award for outstanding research in the field of Hong Kong history. It has become a benchmark for excellence in undergraduate and postgraduate Hong Kong history studies, and it also serves as an incentive for students to explore diverse historical aspects of Hong Kong. In addition, the prize aims to raise awareness of local history’s contribution to Hong Kong’s development. It is sponsored by the Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited and administered by the Hong Kong Alliance for Technology and Innovation.

The winner of the Prize is the better who selects all six drawn numbers and the extra number.

BOCHK Science and Technology Innovation Prize champions the mission of “Boosting Hong Kong, Serving the Country through Technology” by attracting global top science talent, nurturing forward-thinking scientists, and together building Hong Kong into an international innovation and technology hub. The BOCHK Science and Technology Innovation Prize is supported by a review board consisting of an independent Review Committee and Compliance Oversight Team. A prestigious panel of scholars and experts is invited every year to select the winners for recognizing their pioneering work, application, transformation, and social or economic value created.

HKJC is committed to ensuring the fairness of its draw process, and the award winner will receive a cash prize of HKD 2 million, a certificate and a trophy. A comprehensive range of measures is put into place to ensure the integrity of the process, including the weighing and examination of balls used in the draw on a regular basis, the recording of the results of each draw and its subsequent verification, as well as preventing the same ball from being drawn twice in a row. Employees with HKJC’s security and customer service departments are responsible for the safekeeping of the ball and draw machine during the whole process.

The prize offers recognition, support and encouragement in the researchers’ creative work or arts projects; increased international visibility via top-tier media coverage; and opportunities to join a wide network of potential collaborators around the world. It is hoped that the Prize will inspire more young people to devote themselves to promoting sustainable development in the local and global communities.
